A Day at the Beach

This devotional is so lovely. It is a beautiful book. Very well written. Devotions are truly inspiring. This devotional is meant to be relaxing, and it accomplishes just that. I really enjoy reading it at the end of the day. I am a school teacher and relaxation does not always come easy. This devotional is God inspired and a joy to read. I highly recommend it to anyone who is stressed and would just like some relaxing time alone with God.

The Empowered

I was sent the book “The Empowered” by Craig Parshall from Tyndale Publishing. I am a big fan of Frank Peretti novels so this book was a wonderful read for me. I love the battle from the “dark” side. Demonic spirits battling everyday people. Everyday people with the spiritual power to fight. The book has some unexpected twists which makes for a really great read. I highly recommend this book if you love modern mysteries with a spiritual twist. I did not want to put the book down. The author kept my interest and made me want more. Battles that we can’t see but are a part of everyday life. Average, everyday people being equipped to battle the spiritual dark side. If you are a legal mystery fan you will enjoy this book. I had trouble putting it down!

Esther. A Drawn in Bible Study

I absolutely love this bible study. The format is so unique. This is not your normal bible study. While there is scripture to meditate on and questions to make you think and relate to your life, it also contains relaxing coloring pages. I am enjoying this study. I highly recommend this study to either a ladies bible group or an individual looking to draw closer to God. I am looking forward to completing others in the series.
